Before you start
- Pick a builder with native checkout, modern templates, and built-in analytics (Shopify, Wix, or Squarespace are safe bets).
- Prepare assets: logo, 3-5 product photos, pricing, shipping rules, and a one-sentence value proposition.
- Decide on a single CTA per page ("Buy now" or "Start order") to stay focused during the sprint.
Hour 1: Set up & brand
Choose a template, set brand colors and typography, and configure your domain or temporary URL. Enable SSL and autosave.
Hours 2-3: Build core pages
Publish Home, Product/Service, About, and Contact. Add concise copy, trust signals (badges, reviews), and a single CTA per page.
Hour 4: Payments & policies
Connect payments, taxes, shipping/delivery rules, and automated receipts. Add Privacy Policy and Refund/Shipping notes to the footer.
Hour 5: SEO & analytics
Write titles and meta descriptions, compress hero images, add alt text, connect analytics, and submit your sitemap once live.
Hour 6: Launch checklist
Test checkout end-to-end, run a small promo (email or social), and prepare a day-two list for customer follow-ups and small fixes.
Copy & design shortcuts
- Keep headlines outcome-focused ("Launch in 1 Day" vs. "Welcome").
- Use pre-built sections for hero, testimonials, and FAQs; remove anything you can’t fill today.
- Compress images to under 200KB and defer any custom code until after launch.
Post-launch follow-up (Day 2)
- Review analytics and heatmaps to confirm CTA clarity.
- Set up abandoned cart emails or booking reminders.
- Expand FAQs based on first customer questions.
- Add structured data (Product, Organization) for richer snippets.
